IKEA customization

Parametric design tools allow us to customize and adapt any drawing or geometric pattern to existing furniture pieces. In other words, a generic and affordable design like those from IKEA can be configured and given a unique style with added designs that make your furniture a one-of-a-kind element. We showcase the work done on an IKEA EXPEDIT shelf measuring 185×185 cm. Two symmetrical lattice panels made of MDF with white melamine have been installed, applying various engraving, cutting, and low-relief techniques inspired by Arabic geometric motifs.
